How should I accessorize this red vintage gown? - how to accessorize a red gown

My Prom is in less than a month. Luckily I have my dress, but I'm always on ideas when it comes to accessories. I was told that the traditional way in a dress as I would with a silver or champagne shoes and accessories, crystal clear color get red with accessories, but is not my cup of tea.

I like it with black, but I do not see change too difficult. I still have some of those old Hollywood glamor of 50 my dress in the pipeline.

I need your suggestions!

Here is a photo of a garment on the street. :)
